Watches carefully handmade in Switzerland

With roots reaching out to 1946, Chronotechna watches are now manufactured in Switzerland as the brand was resurrected in 2018 to maintain the best possible quality. Our goal remained – to continuously develop and make quality timepieces.

Assembling and testing

All components are manually assembled into luxury Swiss wristwatches by our experienced watchmakers in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The assembly of a single mechanical watch takes an experienced watchmaker basically an entire shift. But it doesn't end there. It is then time for numerous measurements, tests, and trials, which can take up to two weeks. Only when a watch passes all these steps, can it be delivered to the client.

To get a better idea of what tests a watch from a Swiss company undergoes before coming to you, let's name a few. The water-resistance test takes place in a pressure chamber, where the watch is exposed to underpressure and overpressure to determine if the watch is calibrated correctly. Then there's a scratch test, reflection test, and movement accuracy measurement.
It is rare for a watch to not pass all tests the first time around, thanks to the skill and expertise of our outstanding specialists. To get a better idea of what tests a watch undergoes before coming to you, let's name a few. Exceptional materials

We're constantly looking for unique materials and technologies. Various techniques are employed to brush, polish, and decorate every single component. These give our watches their immediately recognizable look and feel and improve material strength, such as our DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) black coating for the watch case or a generous amount of SuperLumiNova Grade X1 lume.
